Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 September 2026
By downloading or using AuroraX you agree to these terms. The app is provided by Tarik Belaid.
Licence
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use AuroraX on devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
Forecasts are not guarantees
AuroraX presents space weather and weather data from third parties, including NOAA, Open-Meteo and NASA. Aurora forecasting is uncertain by nature: the app may show a high chance on a night when nothing appears, or the opposite. Use it as a guide, never as a promise.
Your safety is your responsibility
Aurora watching often means travelling at night, in the cold, sometimes far from help. You alone are responsible for your safety, your route, the weather conditions and any decision you make while using the app. Never use the app while driving.
Third-party data and links
Data, imagery and webcams belong to their providers and may change, be delayed or become unavailable without notice. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
Purchases
"Remove Ads" is a one-time in-app purchase sold through Apple. Payment, billing and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms; requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Advertising
The free version of the app is supported by advertising. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.
Availability
The app may be updated, changed or withdrawn at any time. Features that depend on external services may stop working if those services change.
No warranty and limitation of liability
AuroraX is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from your use of the app or from reliance on the data it displays. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
